We don’t blame you for thinking this, but no, this song isn’t a response to the Corona Virus. Venus Twins even said, “we wrote this song like a bazillion years ago, but yes, it is good timing we suppose.” Thanks to this virus though, a lot of us all seem to have extra time on our hands, so now is a great time to check out Venus Twins’ new track “The Whole Thing is Sick.”
These twins have a real knack for creating music that is pure organized chaos. You could tell me that they planned every second of this song and I’d believe you, and then, on the other hand, you could tell me it was totally improvised and I would still believe you. They find a way to create grooves that just rock you and make you want to move, and then without any warning, they blast off into what seems like complete madness – and that really makes you want to move. This song is the perfect way for you to get your blood flowing on yet another day of social distancing.
Also, while on the topic of social distancing, Venus Twins was one of many bands that had to cancel a string of shows due to this pandemic we face, so if you have the means, head over to their Bandcamp and show them some love.
